    This company needs a class action lawsuit, unbelievable. I regretted every bit of the 1 year 8 months I did business with them 2019/2020 and clearly they came back to haunt me. Corrupt

    Money hungry and never fixed on the property or never cleaned it . All the doors was hack jobs and maintenance had the most basic skills . Rent with them was 1050 but landlord changed management which dropped me rent to 884 because the high rent was due to garners high fees but lack there of service.

    When we moved in, we had a large list of cosmetic issues such as mismatched doors and doors not fully fitting the frame. I noticed that ALMOST ALL the tile in half the basement had peeled up due to flooding. This has issue has never been addressed and it turns out that foundation leaks. Badly. Update: The home had not been cleaned or inspected when we took possession. The home failed the first inspection, nearly a year after we moved in. Had it not been the end 0f 2020, early in the pandemic and I had been unemployed due to COVID-19, we would have moved. With out employment for nearly a year, no rental would even consider us to rent so we were stuck for another year. No one came to fix any of the things that the city required and when the re-inspection happens, the home fails immediately as nothing has been done. It took almost a year and multiple threats of litigation to get anything done. The final inspection, which the home passed, was well over a year after the first, and didn't happen until 1 month before our lease expired. According to the city, the home was not in rentable condition when we took possession, and Garner knew it. We have had nothing but horrible issues with Garner ( which has since changed its name to hide from all the bad reviews). This company is a slum Lord and most cities they operate in know it. Both of the inspectors who inspected the home said that almost All the Garner properties they inspect fail the inspection. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, DO BUSINESS WITH GARNER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ( now named GPM Property and magenment). There is no one here worth commending as it has all been one massive 2 year headache. I would give 0 stars if possible.
