I Wish I Could Give This a Negative 100 Stars!! This Place Is A JOKE. I Would Not Recommend This Place At All. They Left My Mother In Her Own Urine And Feces For Hours. My Mother Needs Assistance With Eating. And They Left Her Food In Front Of Her And Walked Out. I Got A Call From My Mothers Doctor Saying That Her Narcotics She Was Prescribe To Her Was NOT In Her System When She Got Blood Work Done. The Have Another Resident That Has Childhood Trauma And Gets Triggered Really Easy. This One Employee Locks Him In His Room And Puts A Cart In Front Of His Door As He Freaks Out In His Room.

My Grandma was at Lakeview for the last few years of her life. I am beyond thankful for the care they provided to my Grandma even painting her nails an braiding her hair. No matter when I called there they would take the phone right to her and always gave us our privacy on the phone and in person. In her last weeks and days, Misty who works there had made it possible for me to be with Grandma on video as much as possible. They never failed me while caring for my sweet Grandma. Hard to find the right words except for I couldnt be more thankful for all Lakeview Manor did for her and me as well. Id especially like to thank Misty for going way above and beyond to ensure Grandma was not alone

It's impossible to give less than a star on this rating/review, but if I could I'd give them a negative start. They did not give my dad antibiotics for a foot infection for more than a week, antibiotics that caused the infection to spread from his foot into his bloodstream and throughout his body. The medication was ordered by the doctor he saw weekly. When my dad's behavior changed dramatically, which medical professionals have told my now that is an indicator that something medically is EXTREMELY WRONG, the facility pushed back on having him checked out by doctors and instead "prepared" us for his imminent demise. It wasn't until he was unresponsive (for how long we do not know) and sent to the emergency room, that we discovered that they had not given him the required antibiotics. The upshot of this review, and I could go on and on, is unless you want your loved one to potentially die from their gross negligence at this place, do not utilize their facility.

I love working here, there is an amazing sense of teamwork, 12hr CNA shifts (my fav part), friendly staff, and the residents are awesome too. I dont have any negative comments about Lakeview Manor in Tawas City, MI!

I've been with Lakeview Manor since 2014 and working here has been so wonderful and fulfilling!
