Eric and his team have done significant work at our house, including a large waterside deck, reinforced seawall, and an outdoor kitchen. They work with you to define a vision and then execute it, delivering exceptional quality. They are professional and hard working, and I'm looking forward to our next project with them.

Seawall and Deck Restoration replaced a deck at my mom and dad's house on Douglas Drive after a horrible storm destroyed it. They fit us into their busy schedule and completed the work on a timely basis. I would recommend Seawall and Deck Restoration. They are knowledgable and did a great job.

AVS seawall and deck has completed a project on our lakefront property. The seawall, retaining wall and multilevel stairway certainly exhibited their passion for creativity and project execution. Eric, his office staff and on-site crews are professional and easy to work with. Daily communication and photos allowed for changes that Eric was eager to collaborate on. It is obvious that everyone at AVS is committed to fulfilling their clients dream. We would definitely recommend, as we already have, Eric and the AVS organization to create your lakefront vision.

NEW EDIT - Sept, 2022: After 17 months, my job is STILL not done. I signed an estimate in April 2021 and wrote a check for half of the total amount (standard request). Eleven months later, in March 2022, Eric stopped by and asked for the remainder of the balance. Up to this point we had an amazing experience. The crew worked hard, were on time and Eric was always present, so I paid him in full (bad idea, lesson learned, keep reading). The seawall was done, but my lawn was still torn up and I voiced concerns. I was assured it would be taken care of, it would be great and I would love it. I was told that I was on hiscalendar to have dirt brought in and my lawn seeded in May 2022. May came and went, June arrived. I kept calling and kept getting the run-around. Excuse after excuse. Spring was here and I thought the rain would help root the grass seed, but my lawn wasn't seeded until the middle of June. The dirt brought he brought in is garbage! It is FULL of stones, broken glass, branches and weeds... so many weeds! There also isn't enough dirt, the grade on my property is so uneven that I almost twisted my ankle hanging clothes on my clothesline! I called again and again to have this fixed. Eric either doesn't answer the phone, or answers with more excuses. He has promised on multiple occasions to stop by, and never has. There is a sheet of steel sticking out of my lawn that he promised months ago would be cut down, it is still there. I can't run a lawn mower anywhere near it. The dirt that was brought in is settling, and in multiple places is creating holes. The seed that he did spread doesn't begin to cover the lawn fully. I keep calling, he keeps avoiding me. I am beyond frustrated! Here it is Sept 2022 and my job isn't finished, but is paid in full. Eric has the gift of gab, and is quite the salesman. I believed him. We had a good working relationship. In the beginning. After he was paid in full, I was dismissed and ignored. Fall is here and what used to be a beautiful lawn is now an uneven, rocky field full of weeds and black dirt spots that weren't seeded thoroughly. Eric is good at the big picture but not the details. He is more interested in drumming up new business than he is in keeping his word and making sure paying customers are happy with the final product. I feel like I was robbed and was lied to. Do NOT pay this guy until your job is completed to your satisfaction. (My initial review March 2022, before I learned my lesson): Looking at my 70+ year old seawall, I could see it was deteriorating, and thought it's time for a new one. Checking the local paper, I saw an ad for AVS Seawall and Deck Restoration AND a $250 OFF coupon! I called. Eric answered his phone and within 30 minutes he was at my house. Before he left, he measured the seawall. A few days later he and his assistant Jenn came by, provided a written estimate and we talked business and timeline. The crew showed up to work with all their tools and equipment at 8am every day, and worked till 4pm, stopping only to take a lunch break. Eric came by every day to check on the job progress and to speak with me, offering to address any issues I had.
