I am a guardianship attorney and I am shocked at what this company did when the person in their care died. They treated the family of the client with incredible distain. Staff is unsympathetic and lacking compassion for the family of the person in their care. They treat clients as if they are supposed to understand the court system and if they make any mistake at all, they get a lecture. When your parent is declining no one wants to hear "Things are going to be late because you didn't do this right". My client did not report her mother's death for 24 hours while got ahold of her emotions and was told "that is the reason you can't bury her this weekend." I understand that this may have been a mistake but instead of telling someone "had you done this correctly maybe you wouldn't be in this possession". Check attitude Guardian Care. This is not the way to treat someone who has a parent die ONCE just because you do this everyday. I would NEVER use this company again.
