Melstrand General Store

Just don't know where to start. Wish there was zero stars. I've been to 49 states and I've never seen somebody treat customers like that, locals like that, little kids like that. Cussing and telling people to go f themselves in front of little kids. Wow, I really feel bad for her I hope she finds peace before she loses her business.:( I wish I could say this was an one-time occurrence, but it's been going on since she got the store a few years ago.I heard from 10 different local people that day how mean she was to them over the years since she took over that store.:( Also, heard from another seven people that went to the store that day and got cussed out by her. Just so sad. My prayers be with you and your family Dawn Karen. I pray that you will find peace in your life once again or for the first time. May you never treat people like that on a daily basis again. Never seen a business plan that said alienating every single customer that you come into contact with plus the locals is sound. So obviously there's something going on deeper than that. May peace be with you Dawn and your whole family and all your employees and all your former employees and all the locals that have to deal with you.

Very little store with weird hours and REALLY EXPENSIVE GAS!!!

Called the number on Google this morning to see if they were open so we could gas the sleds. The rudest woman answered the phone saying that this was her personal number until 11 o'clock on Sunday. I have an idea, get two different numbers or at least not be rude when you have customers call to see if you are open especially when on Google it says open 24/7 . The only reason I called was beacuse I had heard they had wierd hours

Overpriced gas and extremely rude service from an older lady that worked at the store (assuming owner). We stopped for gas and let our dog out to stretch his legs from being in the car from our roadtrip. I had our dog on a leash with disposal bags attached to the leash. I was outside for 5 minutes walking our dog and he did not do anything outside. While I was opening our trunk to clean my dogs paws the lady opened the door and asked if I needed a clean up bag in an aggressive manner, I said no thanks but thank you. I found this odd, and shortly after this my husband walked out of the store after paying for gas. He told me the lady was rudly talking about me and why I would let my dog out to go to the bathroom. Please keep in mind they offer dog boarding so you would assume this place would be dog friendly. This place is not dog friendly and I would not trust them with a dog.
