United Federal Credit Union - Corporate Headquarters

Do yourself a favor and stay away. Their website is down all of the time and their app is horrible. Also they dont listen to their customers or really care about them. Complaints go nowhere and they closed the nearest branch near us with little notice and no explanation. The staff and even the managers like to lie as well, youll get nowhere with them if you have to escalate issues. They are unavailable past 9 pm central and 3pm on the weekends for chat or phone as well and there is no real way to get anything done late. In addition their dispute department is EXTERNAL which makes it even harder to dispute anything, the one I did took forever and I kept offering to send proof positive and was told it wasnt needed only to be turned down, at which point I had to do even more work when if they had just taken the proof from the start it would have been quick and very easy. Credit unions are supposed to be easier than banks but we found out the opposite with this one.

I had a outside loan being deposited into my account, they sent it back, because two of my account #s where switched, so now im playing phone tag and paying on a loan i dont have yet, thanks for nothing.

Worst customer service ever experienced in banking. My Account was compromised and branch manager authorized transaction out of my account without my permission or consent nor was I notified of banks action. When I contacted management no assurance was provided to me that my money was safe. In fact the manager told me that he had the discretion to withdraw funds from account without notifying me....no empathy no concern Or due diligence to protect members account....That IS SCARY... also the customer service line will not escalate the issue to a higher level of authority to address concerns and actions of lower management. I would not recommend this credit union to anyone .. obviously your money is not safe there ....Beware they will debit your account without your permission and will not notify you !!!!

I tried to refinance my pickup truck through you guys and you would not do it. I just got a loan from you to buy a camper. So dont understand why youll loan on one item and not on another. Also I tried to get the loan through headquarters and I guess that was my mistake. Cause I got the loan for the camper through my local United federal bank. Maybe Ill try my local United federal bank at a later time. I left my previous bank for this same reason. I had been with them for 10 plus years and they never would give me a loan. Thats why I switched banks so hopefully I wont have to change again. I want to be with a bank that wants to help me.
