Beautiful views of and walks to the lake! Alison and Daniel set the high bar for hospitality and care for their guests. They learned ahead of time that one of our party has a disability and jumped two relevant maintenance jobs to the front of the queue, ready to welcome us; they took extra pains when a rainstorm washed aside one of our plans. Their delicious fresh breakfast, sweet afternoon refreshments, extremely clean rooms, generous hot water for showers every single thing was of the highest quality with the warmest welcoming smiles to boot. Do you want to feel like a treasured guest? This is the place. We will be returning.

We had an amazing time at the South Cliff Inn. Daniel and Allison are amazing hosts, and we definitely noticed the love they pour into their B&B. The food was amazing, place was very clean, and the location was great! We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, quaint place to stay! We will be back!

My wife and I took a 3 day mini vacation on the water in St. Joseph, Michigan. We found a Bed & Breakfast called South Cliff Inn. It is located in a nice quiet upscale residential neighborhood. When we arrived, we were greeted by Allison, the owner. She was upbeat, lively and friendly. She gave us a quick tour and showed us our room. I was impressed with the cleanliness of this B&B. It felt like home. The breakfast in the mornings were top rate. Allison cooked everything and served it hot and delicious. Many different coffees, Danish, pancakes, cookies, eggs, breads, etc. You wont need to go out for breakfast because this cant be beat. Her husband Daniel came out to greet us as well. Quite an educated individual and a great conversationalist if you prefer a lively discussion. This is their full time job and it shows they care because they want to make it work. In conclusion, I cant find enough good things to say about our stay but I know youll be overwhelmed with their gracious hospitality as well as the breath taking views and sounds.

Great place, friendly owners who live next door, short 10 minute walk to the beach, great deck and backyard view on top of a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, good for breakfast and sunset views :) 30 minutes beach stroll to downtown restaurants
