I cannot recommend Taylor door. I placed an order for new entry doors totaling over $7000 on 8/26/23 and made a 50% deposit at the time of ordering. I was told to expect 4-6 weeks for the doors to be made and arrive, with installation shortly after. After almost 8 weeks, on 10/18/23 I called Taylor door because I was concerned about the project timeline and had not heard from them. I was informed that the doors had arrived but were damaged. I was told that the best solution was to have the damaged doors installed and file a claim with the manufacturer because they are usually pretty good about fixing them. I was told the damage was noticeable which in my mind means its pretty bad. Of course, Id be required to pay the full amount for the damaged doors at the time of installation. This solution was wildly unacceptable to me, paying full price and then relying on a 3rd party to correct the damage. I requested to have new, undamaged doors made and was told that it would take another 6-8 weeks for new doors to arrive. The replacement doors arrived on 1/8/24 and were scheduled to be installed later in the month due to bad weather. The Doors were installed by Dave, who is a gentleman and does excellent work. When he began to install the casing around the doors, he realized that the casing was ordered incorrectly and it would have to be reordered and cut. I was called by the office and told it would take another 2 weeks for the correct casing to arrive. At this point I became frustrated but polite and asked to have a manager or owner call me about compensation for the incredible amount of delay in this process. I never received a call back. 4 weeks later the casings arrived and were installed on 2/26/24. During the 4 weeks of waiting for the casing, our entry doors had exposed interior studs, screws and insulation which is not a good situation for a home with young children. The doors were completed a full 6 months after ordering Throughout the process I found Taylor door to be unapologetic and dismissive. 4-6 weeks turned into 6 months, with no compensation for time lost. It was very disappointing from a customer service prospective. The same doors we had installed could be purchased from Lowes or Home Depot but I wanted to go with a local business. Unfortunately Id recommend a big box store over Taylor door because of this experience. The one bright spot was the installer Dave, who is an excellent employee that they are lucky to have.

A couple years ago, I had these guys replace both the front door and storm door, but also the storm door to the back yard for my mom at her house. After they were finally installed, it had to be the best work Ive ever seen. I was so impressed with both the quality of the product, AND the work, that I decided to get a new front door with sidelights on my home as well. And it is absolutely perfect. I cant believe how much you can love a beautiful front door! Pictures attached is mine. I will always use these guys for doors as long as I dont live too far away!

My Taylor Door experience started out so promising, Bob did a good job selling the doors to us. When they came to install it was the wrong size, even though they measured twice. No one at the manufacturer measured nor did Taylor Door. So I had to postpone my install for a week. Not one person from TD called me to explain, offer any reason or give any compensation. I actually was only given information from the installer, I was deeply disappointed with their customer service. But I would like to say Dave the installer did a fantastic job and I am happy with my doors.

We recently used Taylor Door Company for our Complete Entry AND Side Door Wall replacements. To say that we were extremely satisfied and that this company completely exceeded our expectations, is an understatement. We started our estimate process with several companies a few months prior and decided to go with them based on rapport, quality of products, knowledge of the tasks/products, excellent communication and patience with the abundance of questions asked of them each time I called back prior to install. From the different conversations with Audrey, Tara, and Darren.. to the detailed options offered and estimate given from Bob...to the quality of work and attention to detail of our installers David and Jay(J), we can tell that they are a company that makes sure their customers are beyond completely satisfied! It was a pleasure to go through the process with them all and we love our beautiful new doors! We're happy to recommend them going forward to anyone in need of great quality doors who are looking for someone to treat your home as if you're family! :)
