Great Lakes Family Dental Group - Saginaw

They did NOT verify my insurance before my appointment causing me to lose a day at work and be charged for no dental work. I showed for a cleaning 3/15/23 only to wait an hour while they verify I have insurance. After it was verified they then took x-rays (the most expensive part) and told me that my time was expired so I couldnt get an exam and the cleaning I wanted done without another visit. Scam artists!

Dr. Kanaan is awesome!! She is very educated, it was great that I got to learn from her during my appointment about what she was doing to fill my cavity. Her assistant is also great! I definitely recommend them, made me feel comfortable right off the bat!

Made an appointment for 8am. I get there and they tell me my appointment isn't till 9am. I have written in my calendar 8am. No apology from the receptionist just told that I will have to come back. So they can waste my time making me drive back out there when I have other stuff to do today but if I cancel I will be charged a late cancellation fee.

Do Not Recommend. They told me I needed all my wisdoms pulled before I could get braces. I got a second opinion. And that wasn't true at all.

They did a good job, I had medicaid at the time. Later I tried to make an appointment, they no longer took Medicaid. Seems like they only took it to build their business.
