Michael Mourtada: Allstate Insurance

I actually had a terrible time with this agency, in the short 4 months I was with them, for the following reasons:- I activated this home owner's policy around May 22, 2022. I spoke to someone on the phone & they said my premium would be $95 per month.- Within three weeks of receiving coverage, I logged online, looking for a bill, only to realize my policy had been terminated, without a formal notice mailed to my house, or an email (despite all of the emails encouraging me to manage my account online, which was already set up), or a phone call from my local agent. The cause for termination had been a single missing shingle from the roof, seen by the assessor. Had my local agent called me to notify me of this issue, I could have let them know that I had a roofer scheduled to replace the shingle & update my fascia - this work took place on 6/28 - since I had recently bought the home & was in the process of organizing all repairs.- At that time, my balance due was $190 and the coverage termination date was for July 23, which would accurately be the two months I was covered $95+$95. I immediately paid this bill & called Allstate, to have my insurance reinstated, which they did, eventually.- However, upon reinstatement, my premium went up $40 per month, without giving me a valid reason for why, taking that $95 to $135.- Then, for the August bill, I not only had to pay $135 but also a $4 installment fee, which was new to the hill & hadn't appeared on the three others before it.- Upon canceling my policy, finally someone called me, a real live person who works in this agent's office. At this time, I was informed that the single missing shingle that was the cause of my entire policy being cancelled, increased the value of my home so much that my insurance premium increased by $325/year. WOW!If this is the headache you seek, then I would recommend Allstate and this local office!

I was very happy with my insurance company at first I had a bundle deal and I have had it set up auto pay I have been seeing payments coming out of my account then I find out they CXL my car insurance and kept my house on I've been driving with no clue that I had no insurance very disappointed.
