Motor City Plumbing and Drain

I see that Motor City plumbing has a good rating and don't doubt that they provide good services. My review is based on my experiences with the company. I had them come out to install a laundry tub, brand new, already purchased and wanted two valves rebuilt, which they would only replace, which was ok with me. Also I wanted the laundry tub lines to extend 1 foot with valves. I'll get right to it. I was quoted $1100 to run 7 feet of copper lines with 4 valves and to plumb in the drain on the laundry tub. I was also quoted $374 to replace the two valves. It cost me $200 dollars and 7 hours to do it myself. (About 4 of those were back and forth to the hardware). I don't mind paying for a service but I felt the pricing was not very reasonable. Thieve prices were given to me by your company so I only feel that it's a fair review, thank you.

I called the Motor City Pluming and Drain company because my bathtub drain was backed up. They sent one of their employees out to fix it the same day. The person who they sent out, George, was very nice and he fixed the problem in no time.

I found Motor City by doing a Google search and selected them because they had good reviews. So let me add my good review to the list. I received a call to let me know who was coming and the estimated time of arrival. Kevin A came and was prompt and professional. He answered all of my questions, explained what he was going to do, and had me inspect the work before he left to make sure that I was satisfied. He even removed the old equipment that was replaced. One note: when it was time to pay, Kevin informed me that if I used a credit card that it would be a processing fee. I don't recall being told this when I called the office. If that's the case, I would suggest stating that on the initial call to give the person the option of having the cash available or knowing that they would be charged a fee for using a credit card. I am satisfied with the service and I would use them again. :)
