        My mom passed away a week before Mother's Day and I wanted to make a memorial space in my dad's backyard for him for Father's Day. I emailed The Outdoor Group simply to see if there was someone who could answer a few questions so I could do the project myself. Cody responded immediately and offered to do it for free. I was so excited because I'm not outdoorsy at all and had no idea what I was doing. I drew up a plan and Cody came to my dad's to take pics of the backyard. I offered the amount of money I was able to pay and he agreed with that. He told me he'd create a plan and send it to me. I called, texted, and emailed him over the next couple months and never heard anything. If he didn't want to do it anymore, he could have said something and I would have understood. Completely ghosting is unprofessional, especially after getting my hopes up and leaving me without a Father's Day gift for my dad.

      Hi Samantha, My condolences and my apologies I was unable to meet the Father's Day deadline for the project you were hoping to complete and we were unable to do business. I was trying to be helpful and donate some services, however extenuating circumstances prevented me from donating them. I did not mean to miss a call, an email, or ghost you in anyway, and for that I would like to pubicly apologize. I am not perfect, and owning a small business can be overwhelming sometimes; I am human, and make mistakes. That being said when a mistake is made, I will own up to it, it obviously affected you, and I'm sorry.
