My girlfriend hired these guys to blow out/winterize her sprinkler system last fall. I turned on the system this spring to find it shooting water out of a huge crack in the side of the valve in the pressure vacuum breaker (see photos). I sent them a note because it's their fault they didn't leave the valve partially open to accommodate expanding freezing water over the winter, and they offered to send a technician...in 2 weeks! So I begrudgingly wait until the guy comes out, and he points out the obvious, that there's a huge crack (that his company caused!). Then he tells me what he would do and the part/labor will be several hundred dollars. Are you serious?! I obviously told him no thanks. Never hire these guys for any sprinkler or irrigation work--they will either intentionally mess it up to leave you on the hook for more expensive repairs, or they're just incompetent and don't believe in fixing problems they caused to retain a customer. You've been warned.
