I had to tell them about a flaw in their software. It cost my client penalties (which I paid) because their programmers could not fix it quickly. I am a former programmer so I knew an 'if statement' would have fixed it. Instead they hard coded the information which meant other preparers' clients' returns would be in error. Also, they were only online. That was inconvenient when I wasn't at a location with Internet access.
