Holiday Inn Express & Suites Port Huron, an IHG Hotel

First time being In Michigan and it was a great stay. The staff was very friendly and kind to everyone, they treat you with respect and greet you with a smile as you walk inside. As you go down for breakfast and sit near the windows, you get a great view of the Port right outside as the sun shines through glistening off the water. The free breakfast is always a plus and it tastes good as well. The flooring on the hallways and the room on the 3rd floor were a little wonky and uneven. That is the only negative thing I can say about this hotel. The window blinds are also mechanically controlled by buttons on the wall and they are blackout curtains which is also very nice if you want to sleep in. The bathroom/shower also comes with Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Whenever I come back to Port Huron, I will stay here. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone if you are in the area! Rooms: The rooms were very clean and spacious. Nearby activities: Bring your passport if you want to drive not even 5 minutes to the Canadian Border! There is a bar beside the hotel as well and liquor store. Food & drinks: The free breakfast is great. The cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy are amazing!

Had a wonderful stay over Easter weekend 2024. The pool was great, breakfast was filling, the rooms were warm and welcoming, clean clean clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Shout out to Amanda and all other staff for makin our stay the best we could ask for!!! We will be back!!

Very nice room we ended up in. We got a double queen, standard room on the first floor. VERY clean, as a past housekeeping supervisor, we do look at these things and look for cleanliness. Perfectly spaced out for our 4 year old to roam around in and not disturb other guests.The view was great, our view included, what looked like abandoned docking for tiny boats, but was still nice to look through the window at this time of year with the winter being mild enough for birds to fly and land through. You could see the toll Bridge headed to Canada, which was also great. Staff were very welcoming, and helpful come check in and departure times. Pool area was clean, and very well heated! Breakfast was amazing and always stocked up with food, so you never had to wait for the next round. (kudos to the breakfast lady, she asked our little group of 3, if we wanted anything to take home or on the road) Definitely staying again when we are in the area. We were very pleased with our stay. A+
