        Wow,I thought I was on a hidden camera show,this place is where u go if u want to die,im disgusted that this hospital is open

        This place has the worst ER I've ever seen. They don't seem to care whatsoever about pain levels and help people on a first come first serve basis. Are you screaming in pain? Well too bad. Suffer and wait while you watch happy smiling people be seen first at an ER. I don't understand how a hospital can have such little compassion. From here forward I will go to Mercy every single time. Don't give these people your money, or your insurances money. Sincerely, someone who has been yelling with each contraction of pain for the past 4 hours in the waiting room.

        Time was 9 AM ish on a Saturday. The check in people were friendly(only waited 15 minutes to be seen). The gentleman that took my vitals was friendly. (Waited 5 minutes in between vitals and being taken to a room) The nurse that I had was fantastic, if I ever have a medical emergency again I hope he is who is my nurse. Everyone seemed knowledgeable and re assured me every step of the way.

        As a nurse, I can tell you this place doesnt pay its staff enough for the chaos they endure! I waited over nine hours and was discharged without a diagnosis for my critically elevated labs. The staff repeatedly apologized for the long wait time but I know from experience, it wasnt their fault. They were visibly shorted staffed for the amount of patients coming in the ED. In the event of a future emergency, I will make the drive to a larger facility, closer to Detroit and I advise others to do the same. The picture is of my discontinued IV site, given at Port Huron McLauren ED.
