As a new business owner, I chose to seek out one of the areas top accounting firms. I didn't know the first thing about accounting for a business and was not interestedin doing this on my own. I however chose the wrong firm. Within the first 6 months I was fined by the irs because they did not submit my payroll taxes correctly. My taxes were done incorrectly by Mr griffin himself, they did not write off any of my new equipment or the build out of my space. I payed in for my taxes, after they were redone the correct way I received money back. Getting the information from the time they did do my accounting, as I obviously let them go, has been a nightmare. I highly suggest you avoid this firm Yes I was fined due to payroll taxes because when entering my information into the system my banking information was entered incorrectly, and when I brought up the letter from. The IRS I was told not to worry about it. I received 3 letters I brought to your attention, before I was fined. The money was their and you made the mistake. Also you never refunded me for my taxws despite your statement. You didn't charge me to amend then but that was also your mistake not mine.
