went up for the Dark Sky Park and ended up staying for the sunrise. Great trails and awesome views. Even caught a few bald headed eagles while walking the beach.

It's my getaway spot to leave the city and just enjoy nature and the quietness. Great walking trails. Very nice beach line.

Simply amazing. We stayed on a site in front of the campground beach with our 33' trailer in September. There was a parking pad but the rest of the site was sand. Behind and up a hill there was a nice modern playground for the kids and a bath house. The beach was sandy with nice calm water and amazing sunsets. My kids noticed that the sand "sang" when they shuffled their feet in it. The campground itself is small and you can easily walk the loops. It's nice a shady and a good mix of beach and wooded sites. There are several mini cabins to stay in. The only downside is the road is narrow with lots of trees and it was difficult to navigate with the trailer. There's a dark sky park by the day use area and you have to drive to it. But there's a nice viewing platform. The day use area is pretty wild, with dunes and a long stretch of beach. There are trails throughout. Playground: Nice and modern with lots of sand. Restrooms: Large and clean
