D&C did a job for my commercial property when I was a fairly new business owner. Nick and his crew were amazing and Dave made me comfortable and explained the process to me. The most important to me is that they have consistently checked in to make sure the job is still the top quality it was the day they finished.

I met Dave and D&C when I moved to Port Austin about 2 years ago. He met with me multiple times to discuss what I wanted out of the property and helped develop the vision. We were surrounded by red oak trees threatening to crash down on our home and we couldn't wait any longer - what a difference it made! A few important requirements I had: 1. I needed a contractor that could see the vision for the property and communicate what they were going to do. 2. I needed to know how the costs would add up (while keeping in mind that I would ask for more areas to be cleared while the work was being done) 3. I needed to know that the job would be finished in a reasonable amount of time. 4. I needed to have a contractor with qualified connections for work after the land improvement. D&C exceeded my expectations in all those areas. Dave saw the vision, accurately estimated the costs, and completed the job with everything looking 100% better than when they started. Finding reliable contractors in the Thumb is hard - there are not a lot of options. Finding ones that are honest with you from start to finish is even harder. I can imagine that if I went with some other big name companies in the area that they would have robbed me blind. I highly recommend that you contact D&C if you're looking to have any type of land improvement or preparation for building. By going with D&C, you'll also be getting "in the know" of other qualified contractors that Dave recommends. Without a doubt, this is the best investment I've made on the homestead to date.
