I have been trying to schedule a simple blood draw for a month. Each time I go to the clinic on Orchard Lake Road they send me away, every time I call to ask when the phlebotomist will be at Baldwin Center no one answers the phone or calls me back. I have sent an online message to get in touch with mental health services since there doesn't seem to be a phone number anywhere. While taking care of my health was a priority for me, as it's not for anyone else I'm going to be withdrawing myself from this services and find someone else who wants my insurance money. Don't waste your time.

The last time I visited this office was in the summer of 2023. It was a recommendation that I received a colonoscopy in 2020 after contracting Covid. McLaren hospital, in Pontiac, did a CT Scan after I was admitted for bloody stools and extremely painful bowel movements. It was determined that I had colon thickening and polyps. I made Dr Austin aware of this and was informed that she would investigate. I AM YOUNG AND IT IS UNLIKELY I NEEDED A COLONOSCOPY. But if the hospital recommended, she would do a referral. 7 months later, no call no nothing. I stay all the way in Hazel Park and do not want to keep traveling almost 35 minutes to Pontiac when all you guys can do is respectfully follow up with me. I had to go to McLaren Hospital in September 2023 to obtain my medical records just to GET MY DOCTOR TO BELIEVE ME. Smh.True I am young, under 40 yrs old and healthy. But. if you have a television at home and internet connection you as a doctor should hear the news that colon cancer is impacting more and more young people under 45 years old . In November 2023 out of nowhere, I was lying down watching tv and all of a sudden my stomach started hurting so bad to the point I had to call 911. When I got to the hospital in Madison Heights, I vomited multiple times. I did not eat anything that wouldve caused sudden illness out OF NOWHERE. I had very unusual stomach issues 2 weeks thereafter that resulted in bowel changes and a mix of diarrhea and constipation. I told doctor Austin all of this, and I was told it was just stomach flu.. SERIOUSLY??? its almost like if you are younger in your 20s or 30s, the medical field tend to look at young people as INVINCIBLE and is quick to dispel our concerns. Its a shame. Please do better .I still have faith in you Dr Austin but please do not be afraid to be the outstanding doctor I know you can be.
