I highly recommend Mike Bancroft if you are looking to sell or purchase a home. Mike has been very helpful in helping me and my family sell 2 homes and purchase 2 more and one purchase was during the pandemic! He went out of his way with each and every purchase/sale. Especially the last home where I was alone and needed extensive help in getting the house ready for sale. He even made sure the landscaping was pristine (doing the work himself) something I was not able to do. I could not have done all that need to be done to sell that home without him. I also believe his extensive help and guidance are what was able to get me the best price for the home. He is a gem!

Mike was amazing to work with. All moves are stressful but we blended a family and made the move during the height of Covid. He got to know us, never made us feel dumb for asking questions and went out of his way to make sure our experience was perfect. He also used an amazing sense of humor to keep the house hunting and selling adventurous. I would absolutely recommend him to my friends and family!

For reference, we have used 3 other realtors in total outside of Mike. However, after meeting Mike the first time to sell our house, we chose to ask him if he could help us buy a house again during our recent move because of how great our experience was with him the first time. Let me tell you, he's honestly the best realtor we've ever had. He is always there to represent you, to walk you through every aspect of the process, and is a professional and hilarious (yes, BOTH!) agent. If you're looking for additional detail to see what either process will look like, please feel free to read below: Our Experience Selling: We were selling our house during a time where it should have sold in a day -- and it was on the market for over 30! We were in a weird position, so Mike continued to have Open Houses every weekend and follow up with agents for us until we got the best possible offer available for us to move out. The situation had started to look bleak and instead he helped us negotiate a price near our original selling price and ultimately, we had a seamless move! Our Experience Buying: A year later, we had to move back to Michigan due to a family emergency. We contacted Mike to see if he was available, and he jumped at the chance to help us in our time of need. He actually drove over 2.5 hours multiple times across the state to help us look at houses and put in over 7 offers for us. He supported us in our inspection when we weren't sure we were going to be able to make it and made what was one of the most stressful times in our lives better. He's a fun realtor who called daily to give me updates and/or was flexible and texted when I was in meetings. He articulated everything within our contracts/amendments and made sure both sides were aligned on move in dates/appraisal dates/inspection dates/etc. This was awesome because I am a Type A person and I like to know when everything is happening up front. Truly, Mike is an incredible agent. He was empathetic, professional, organized and flexible on all accounts. I highly recommend him as a realtor to anyone selling or buying in Michigan.
