No Place Like Home Care

After trying three other home care companies in the Plymouth community for my 88-year-old mom, I could finally sigh and know that she was consistently receiving compassionate and competent care in her home for the duration of her life. I cannot say enough about Rachel, owner, and the caregivers who cared for my mom. Rachel and her team became family in the truest sense of that word. She was exceptional in addressing any challenges presented by my mom and her care and ALWAYS collaborated with me and found solutions. My mom passed away March 4, 2022 and Rachel and Alexis, one amazing caregiver, came to the celebration of her life. I will be forever grateful for the love and support offered by Rachel and her caregivers, to not only my mom, but also to my siblings and myself. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending No Place Like Home Care in Plymouth, MI. Perhaps the most profound realization for me during my moms last year and a half was that family is way more than being biologically related.family means deep, genuine, and loving connectionsthis, I believe, came naturally and authentically from Rachel and her caregivers. First off just like all my fellow reviewers of this “extinguished” establishment the wait will have you wanting to walk out every time. Actually couple gentlemen ahead of me back out of appointments because of wait. The staff are rude. I’ll put it to you that way. I feel like they already have an opinion of you before you even are allowed to speak. I was being criticized by clueless unprofessional and honestly just in it for the scrubs nurses while an unaware and frankly could care less “doctor” sat in his office twiddling his thumbs. Once again the staff just clearly are pushed everyday by patients and I get that. But doesn’t mean that all patients deserve to be treated like that. Some are going through way more then you could imagine. And just need to be treated as a new face and not just one you already have a “professional “ opinion of. These people have no profession.

I went when they opened to take a drug test for work. I spent over an hour there for something that took less than 5 min. There were only 4 people in the waiting room before me and none were in critical care. There was no sense of urgency.
