UPDATED: 1/23/2023 They paid me back $700 and Thumbtack covered $1000 due to their guarantee. The work was never completed. I'll change my review to 3 stars. They stated below that it was a clerical error, but in reality, it was impossible to get a hold of them, they would schedule a date and on the day of, Id try to call them and no one would pick up. I would just be cautious with this group and never give them money upfront. ---------------------- I paid them in full $1700 in September. Since then, they have scheduled three separate appointments and no-showed without any communication every single time. They promised me they would come out this afternoon and would offer me a discount. I called them yesterday to confirm and they said they would be there. Today comes around, I called them several times and they never showed up again. This company is a scam and now I have to hire a lawyer to get my money back. -------------

I had a couple companies price the door and I talked to them and they sent me over a quote. After some back-and-forth, we agreed on a price and a 65% deposit. That was almost 3 months ago and no phone calls or texts are returned, their phones are shut off. Now Im going through the process of hiring a lawyer to sue them. Not sure why contractors cant just do a straightforward job for the money you pay them. If you do good work, it comes back to you tenfold, but these people just like to scam you. Or, crazy thought, say sorry and return the deposit. Not sure why its so hard. Police report comes next should nothing come through a refunded deposit or the lawyer. Will update if I get a response and a refund from them. UPDATE: went to their location a couple months after this issue to talk with them. The place listed on google is not their place, company in that place has been there 3 years and never heard of ARK, and multiple times people have showed up looking for them (including the police). Recommend you watch for fake reviews that are recent so they can continue scamming people. Note - never use Zelle to pay contractors unless you have worked with them. You cant get your money back, with a credit card you can reverse the charge. They will tell you to use Zelle to save on the credit card charge, but they know its not reversible. Still fuming over being scammed.

They went above and beyond to help me in a pinch. My garage door fell off the rails and they were able to come by within a few hours late in the evening. Fixed the problem quickly and in my opinion was VERY reasonable with the price, especially given how short notice it all was. Would absolutely recommend!

Company charged full amount to install garage door, promised to come back and finish the job the next day. Never returned, did not answer texts or phone calls. They walked away with the full amount of money and did not finish the job. Do not trust this company.
