Petoskey Hearing Aid Center

Didnt even want to give this one star. Husband had Petoskey Hearing replace the wire that that goes from hearing aid to ear and was charged $185.00. The volume was fine before Petoskey Hearing replaced the wire, now my husband can barely hear anything with that hearing aid. Called to ask if they could adjust the volume back to the original level, now they want another $80.00. You would think they should stand by their work.

Mike is knowledgeable about the hearing aid business and takes care of his patients quite well he's Fair honest works hard at what he does and knows what he's doing that's why I give them five stars.

Mike has helped me in Petoskey with my hearing aids since I was a child (30 years now). He helps me stay current with the latest Swiss Phonak technology introducing me to neat gadgets along the way like hands-free hearing-aid-compatible phone/tv assistance equipment. Today he helped me with a device to make wearing the mask more comfortable (so that it doesn't need to loop around the ears). He gave me one of his hearing aid batteries to plot on the calendar and compare to my current battery lifespan (roughly 8 days per battery). And, like me, Mike is big on cycling and athletics - and this is important - it really helps to have a fellow athlete as my audiologist - Mike immediately understood why we needed to switch from a "behind the ear" hearing aid to "in the ear" as soon as the technology allowed, because of the complications of wearing things like bike helmets and goggles with "big pieces of plastic" riding on top of the ears.
