I've been seeing Kathryn for I think a year and a half at this point. Maybe two years? I'd been searching initially for a practitioner that wasn't going to overdo things on my sensitive skin. I also don't want to feel judged or pressured into things that aren't me when I go to a place. Kathryn's holistic approach really stood out to me as I wasn't seeing that anywhere else in my searches. When I got there, the space and her spa room feel like entering a different world. The entry is loaded with plants that immediately make you feel more grounded. The spa room is cozy, has soft light and was very intentionally designed to put clients at ease. You can feel that the second you walk in. The service itself is something that I've continued to drive almost an hour to get most months. She customizes products and modalities to fit what my skin needs in that moment. She remembers my preferences and her face massage relaxes me in a way that almost nothing else does. I can see a difference in my skin for days after seeing her and as long as she keeps doing this work I will keep seeing her for facials!
