Bought a brand new part from them that was defective. Refused to refund or exchange it. I should have learned from that. I had them come out to diagnose my furnace on another occasion, charged me $168 to tell me they couldn't figure it out. Not good business. I have found someone cheaper and better.

Use a different company! I have a close family member who had an urgent appointment set up this past week. This company was a "no call, no show". The office expressed no concern either. This young person missed work to be home for this appointment. My family member chose an out of town business instead! I rate them a 0 out of 10.

I called for over 2 months and never had any return calls! I talked to the receptionist multiple times and was promised a return call from the owner which I NEVER got. When she was out sick, he actually answered and admitted he had my messages. I told him what I needed done and he said he would get back with me. He never did call me. I tried calling numerous times and was told same answer: "He has your messages and will call you back." That still has not happened so I went elsewhere. This is such a shame as Lamphere's had such a great reputation. Beyond disappointed. Do not waist your time. This plumber does not have time for you.
