Online shopping showed imported replacement motors weighing 160# from $1,200-$2,100. American made replacements were a little more. I explained to Dan that I refuse to buy imported items unless American made products are unavailable.
He had, (in stock), an American made Marathon 20 hp, correct size, cast iron frame, copper wound, 374# new in box motor for $800.
Absolutely what I wanted for far less than I thought I would spend.
CSH will be first call whenever I have electric motor issues!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!!
