If you're going to make highly inaccurate accusations of a person facelessly behind your keyboard, you should at least attempt to provide some context. Director Stasiak works diligently to provide programs and events to the Oak Park community that are inclusive to all. Her passion for her job and the city is showcased daily in her unwavering commitment to doing her best to provide the community with parks and programming that meets the needs and desires of all members.

I am also a proud Jew and have worked with Laurie Stasiak for many years. Laurie is not antisemitic nor is she a racist. Laurie works hard to be sure her programs are inclusive for all people who reside in Oak Park. Many of the programs she puts on are done on Sundays so observant Jews may participate. The Oak Park Farmers Market, which her department runs, has Dakota Bread as a vendor which is certified kosher and I have presented healthy cooking classes on Sundays so those that observe the sabbath on Saturday May participate. So to call Laurie an antisemite is completely out of line. I am a proud Jew and am proud to count Laurie as my friend.
