        The king suite with the in-room whirlpool tub was key to our good experience at this Motel 6. Although the in-room fireplace did not work, our room was clean, comfortable, and met our expectations. However, exploring the rest of this motel left us certain that, had we been in a different room, we likely would have left without spending the night. The hallway displayed peeling paint and dirty/stained carpets, and there were many awful plug-in air fresheners within a short walk that were clearly failing to overpower an even worse smell, which seemed to permeate the entire second floor of the wing.
