LaLumbre Massage and Yoga of Northville

Warning: Scheduling problems. (massage)Lavelle is an amazing massage therapist who has helped me out several times. However I will not be going to LaLumbre and I fear they have serious scheduling problems. A few weeks ago I had a massage scheduled for 1 pm. The front desk associate called and asked if I could come later. I could not, I work at 230. She explained that I was double booked by mistake. I was understanding but disappointing as I was in a lot of pain. I count on massages so that I can deal with my chronic pain condition. It is a medical necessity for me right now. A few weeks later I tried again for an appointment at 9:45. The place is almost an hour from my house but I figured Lavelle was worth the drive. I am halfway there and I get a call saying my appointment is canceled. This Is the second time it's gotten canceled due to mistakes or cancelation on LaLumbres error. They did not offer me a time to reschedule or a discount on my next massage for the inconvenience twice. Due to poor customer service I will not be returning.  Which is such a shame. Don't count on your appointments here and don't count on the company doing anything to make it right.

Love this yoga studio! Great range of classes to suit any skill level. Instructors are personable and engaging - and will adjust class format pending needs of the class for the day. Highly recommend Karen Howe's courses on Tu/Th/Sat. She challenges you to grow your practice and helps you build strength to take your yoga skills to the next level. I always leave class feeling challenged, exhausted and mentally balanced. A very welcoming community.

I discovered this place through Groupon and it's great! My back was causing me great pain and so I decided to get a sports massage. Heather was my massage therapist and she was awesome! This was my first massage so I was very nervous but she made me feel very comfortable and completely fixed my tight shoulders! I didn't plan on it when I went in but I ended up making a second appointment to get my lower back worked on more because I felt like a million bucks after my massage! Definitely recommend!

Hands down, I received the best massage I've ever had in my life! The space here was very modern, clean, and professional. If you're looking a for a relaxing massage in Northville this is the place!
