I used Chad extensively when we lived in Michigan. We ran salmon, we ran steelhead, we ran trout and bass...you name it. Chad always displayed an incredible balance between his expertise while always being patient with us as these native Texans learned a whole new way to fish. It goes without saying, but Chad was a huge part of a lifetime worth of memories for my family. I have been on guided fishing trips and hunts for most of my 51 years, all over this country. Chad is literally the best. Here is one of my favorite pics on one of the steelhead mornings.

My boyfriend and I booked a trip with Betts (hired Chad) for a full day wanting to catch steelhead. Chad was great at communicating what we needed to do for what we came for. He knows the river very well and what techniques to get big bites. We had an awesome time and caught tons of trout. Looking forward to the next trip!

I've been fishing with Chad and his guide service for almost 10 years now. It's fishing, so you never know what the day will bring but I've never gone home empty handed and the entire experience is effortless on my part. He's been doing this for decades and knows the rivers extremely well. Chad does an excellent job tracking the fish throughout the season and knows where to go to put you on them quickly. Him and his guys do all of the legwork for you so all you have to do is show up and catch em. It's nice to have someone in the boat that knows what they're doing and someone to help coach me on my technique and improve my casting. Each trip I end up learning something new. This last trip out, he even let me use my fancy new rod and reel that I've been wanting to get more comfortable with and I truly appreciated that. If you're the kind of person that wants a "book it and forget it" effortless style fishing trip with someone who will do all of the prep work for you and get you on the fish, go with Chad!

Fished with Chad today! He was fantastic! Took time to teach us how to be successful! 10/10 recommend! Will be back
