Very nice place to camp. You can either get in or get out of the Muskegon River right there. Plenty of parking. People very respectful of quiet time, showers could be updated, but work well. Most sites are electric only, there are 2 nice cabins . Plenty of space for tent, swings for kids. River very clean , about 2 hours away, far enough from home but yet close if any issues.

Fairly clean restrooms for a county park. Large campsites. Great place to get out after putting in at thornapple. About a 3 and half hour trip. Camp host was friendly and helpful and rode around looking for a pair of sunglasses that someone in our group lost. They have volleyball, pickleball, and a great disc golf course.
