    Where's the negative stars because that's what they deserve! Never have a dealt with worse service called in Nov to have dumpster removed and cancel service due to NO pick up in Sept and Oct (which where paid for). Then get call back from Heather wanting me to stay with company, new rate, new dumpster, (mine has 3 ft hole in bottom) sign new contract.They'll issue credit on non pick ups. So I did, and still no service! Last week asley talked with me telling me had to pay for months didn't receive service and pay for March, (since didn't cancel). Been with modern over 20 yrs! NO MORE!

    Absolutely horrible service. We never received any documentation or notification of the buyout to LRS. Our service was canceled for non-payment, even though we had autopay. WHY did these people keep picking up our trash if we weren't paying them?? We don't generate much trash- I'm an avid recycling freak. We can usually skip a pickup. But after learning about their LOW rating since being bought out and the fact that they don't recycle anymore? BUH BYE. I just paid off our bill and we're going elsewhere. Representative was RUDE and refused to hear any feedback, which solidified my decision.

    We used this company for many years for our business, but when LRS purchased Modern Waste we noticed a price increase and then missed pickups. We ended up switching when they changed our dumpster to a smaller size without asking or telling us and kept the monthly fee the same.

    I have been a customer since 2014 and will not renew. The customer rep was not the friendliest and gave a rude tone after I asked a question. A wheel fell off our garbage can after it was dumped. Their policy asked me to leave it at the end of the driveway up to two weeks until they can get to it. It is inconvenient and a safety concern. We take out a bag of trash a day, our driveway is long and without a wheel the can is unstable and on windy days, gets pushed over into the 40 mph road.

    I very seldom leave a bad review and if not for the pick up driver and Kim G of guest services If I could I'd leave no stars, but I am leaving two stars for the driver and Kim G (who deserves 5 stars because they're personable and showed they care for their guest on his route and her calls) I find them to be excellent representative of this business and appreciate them as wonderific people and sanitation workers as for the rest of my experience not good, Jacob the not so caring phone rep of LRS formerly known as Modern Waste conveniently couldn't find where I canceled my services in September/October and have acted as if they continued to pick up my trash which is still here and charging me for services I no longer received after a cancellation they never applied. Modern waste formerly known as, formerly known as continues to raise prices but not the experience of their service policies are not given upfront and ate used to justify charges for services no longer rendered, as for todays call the guy Jacob that answered the phone and then called back should never again answer phones for anyone as his demeanor is horrible and his desire to help guest who are not understanding how they're continuing to be charged for a service they're not receiving is deplorable. I am a guy that even when receiving poor guest services will compliment and encourage so people can feel valued in their lives but for Jacob I have none however I am stating 100% facts when I say my former driver was outstanding. Today is 4/8/2024 I needed to edit my post because of this Wonderific guest service worker from LRS. For months I've tried to get my services terminated from LRS formerly known as Modern Waste who not only kept billing me while not collecting my trash but had a very impatient non-personable poor attitude service worker named Jacob treat me like I am responsible for their mistakes and oversights, my original post was last month and lo and behold they still haven't retrieved their garage can and I called today to see why and I got Kim G from the LRS Customer service department and she is a TRUE GEM of a Guest Services worker, my last few interactions with LRS formerly Modern Waste of Jackson were an abysmal affair and I left 1 star, however today's call was one a complete JOY due to KIM G's phone skills and personality she deserves a raise and should be the trainer of ALL guest service workers at LRS formerly Modern Waste. Thank you KIM G for making the G in your name stand for GREAT.
