The big nurse on the bottom floor who works at one of the desks in front of the labs was EXTREMELY rude but other than that the rest were great.

These people are wonderful!!!! I live in Northern Michigan and went into our local hospital on Saturday to have some blood tests that my cancer doctor - at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio - ordered for me to have done. They told me that they did not do lab work for outpatients on weekends or holidays and, that if I wanted lab work done then, I would need to go to the ER - obviously at a much higher rate. Otherwise, they told me to come in Tuesday (today) at 8:00 AM to sign up for an appointment later in the day, Plus, when I have had lab work done there in the past, I would have to wait 2+ hours before having my name called after registering. My wife was going to a convention in Muskegon beginning last evening, and I was serving as her driver. I went here - to the Trinity Health Medical Center Sherman Pavilion - just a while ago. I was checked in immediately - maybe a 5 minute wait - and was called back for the lab work within another 5 or 10 minutes. Start to finish, it took less than a half hour from the time I walked in until the lab blood draw was finished and I walked out. Everyone here was professional and competent, and I would especially like to complement Tamara Green at the lab registration. She greatly exceeded my expectations - partly based on the performance - or lack thereof - of my local Northern Michigan hospital.
