Laurels of Mt. Pleasant

They are abusing the Lincoln Law they charged services that were not performed we visited my mom every day there was no bathing washing she had diapers piled up in room ,there was no physical therapy due to being too painful, and they have not called me back once on my 3 phone calls so u say i shoul call i have and left messages w no response

I have had the opportunity to work with Laurels of MP on a regular basis over the last year and a half. They have always been on top of the care my consumer needs. They stay in contact and let me know anything that is going on and respond to me in a timely manner when I am in need of information from them. This is greatly appreciated and they have been a pleasure to work with!!!

The Social Worker Lynn is extremely helpful, patient, and communicative. The facility is very clean! My mom has improved significantly in health since being there! Shes been there for about 2 months and so far so good. Ill update review again in a few months!:)

My ex wife Jane stayed here one year ago today. She was helped both physically and emotionally to get back on her feet. Lynn, a staff social worker, was key to finding her a doctor and helping her transition to full recovery

My sister had an ankle fusion surgery that required some rehabilitation. Our experience was that she went in there able to transfer and came out 11 pounds heavier, completely demoralized, and unable to transfer. While most of the caregiving (CNAs and housekeeping) staff are awesome and caring there seems to be a lack of leadership at the administrative level and sort of a lack of understanding how to communicate and deal with issues. For example, my sister did not receive her diabetes medicine due to lack of communication. She also didn't receive her menu choices consistently. In addition there were constantly mixed messages regarding next steps and follow up. I suggest if you're going to the Laurels you insist upon a weekly family meeting or learn the Ombudsman's number (which was also incorrectly posted). I did not find the PT or OT therapist to be frankly competent or helpful in any areas. The Laurel's facility had very little equipment and not the equipment my sister needed.
