After pulling your file, it does not appear that you mentioned you had a new account number. There is no way for us to know that you have changed your banking information unless you tell us. The same is to be said about your address change. We ask every client when they drop off if there has been any changes. I am sorry for the misunderstanding, however, when you come into the office to pick up your taxes you sign a form that states "Under penalties of perjury, I declare that I have examined a copy of the income tax return I am now authorizing, and to the best of my knowledge and belief, it is true, correct, and complete." That being said at any point during the day you picked up you could have called back and informed us of the clerical issue as we do not submit the returns until the end of the night just for this type of situation. Unfortunately, it isn't that it is "not" our problem, it is that we can not make changes once the forms are submitted to the governing parties.
