More Than Plumbing

Was assigned this company by American Home Shield. They were scheduled to show up at my house today between 10 am and 2 pm. They never showed up. No phone call. I called them and received their voicemail multiple times today and left messages during their business hours. Never received a call back.

I was assigned this company via my home warranty company and I have not heard from them for 5 days (3 business days) We have no water heater and I can't even get a call back!!! 3 voicemails.... rude

The MOST unaccommodating and unprofessional company! My home owners warranty company uses this company as a "preferred provider", however, my experience with them has been far less deserving of the word preferred. First they gave me an 8 hour window to come out on a day of their choosing -- I explained to them that did not work for me that I need a set time. They then shortened it to a 4 hour window -- I again explained that would not work for me and that I need a SET time. I offered to have them come first thing in the morning, 8AM or after 4:30PM -- they stated they would not accommodate that citing "your warranty company does not pay for after 4:30PM or weekends, and we plan our routes furthest from home and work our way back"... again, that does not work for me. When I advised them that I would request/use a different company they tried to state the warranty company would not remove the work order from them. They continued to contact me after I made it clear that I was not using their company, though I eventually had the work order transferred and their company flagged. By far the most unprofessional interaction with any skilled trades company -- would never recommend.

To preface - I was a little apprehensive at first when seeing the stars and some of the google reviews. The team at More than Plumbing was assigned to my location through my AHS home warranty. I will say that they did an exceptional job in replacing my water heater. Frank (plumber) was very knowledgeable and professional, and very upfront about any cost out of pocket that AHS home warranty may not cover. Courtney (scheduler) was very transparent as well about the possible lead time to get a water heater that AHS would replace my old one with. Overall, I would say that the team did an excellent job in communicating, scheduling, and executing the replacement of our water heater.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Please DO NOT use this company. My mom lives in Armada. She had this company come out and put in a new sump pump in. Connor came out to put it in. He forgot to plug in the sump pump. My mom's basement flooded due to this. She has tried multiple times to get ahold of this company, and so far, no one has called her back.
