So grateful I chose Mr. Slep. His experience and knowledge produced an outcome I didnt dare to hope for, and he and his assistant Lauralee were a pleasure to work with.

If I could give zero stars I would DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! If you want communication, wish to know what the progress of your case is, and don't want to take a plea bargain for something you didn't do, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!! I hired Mr Slep in August after interviewing a few attorneys, with his background as an assistant prosecutor I assumed he was the best choice (paid more than others were asking) as he knows how they work, trust me he does but it's not in your benefit like I assumed. Mr Slep does not have your back as an attorney and will leave you feeling like he is prosecuting you. He never contacted anyone on my behalf in which as a defense attorney he should don't let him lie to you. He attempted to force me to take a plea bargain going as far as to threaten to my son (witness) if he had to take the stand, asking me if "that is really what I wanted my child to go through that". He requested additional money for the trial in which I didn't believe necessary as he hadn't done anything on my behalf besides zoom into court. I requested a detailed list of expenses to that point and he became upset stating "it was a flat rate fee and he didn't have to provide proof of anything". I released him that day and hired new defense. After a few weeks with my new attorney, my case dismissed. Mr Slep is great at getting you to believe that he will do everything for you going as far as to tell you he believes he can get the case dismissed, then he gets your money and you hear nothing from him. If you have questions or want to know progress your emails and calls will go completely unanswered by him. You will however get the talk to his lovely assistant Lauralee, she is a sweetheart and I pray she one day will leave and find a job with a more honest and trustworthy attorney.

I would not recommend this lawyer. He did nothing for my son at all. Doesn't return his calls and even bother to talk to him about his case.
