For the deposit, you automatically agree that they can keep 50% of it regardless of whether it's for cause. Nearly all the units on Saginaw Rd flood badly in the basements. You need a water rider from your rental insurance for the flood water you will deal with. It's a design flaw, and they only fix it when issues pop up. And even then, getting them to fix anything in a quick manner can be a huge hassle. Since April of 2023, we flooded multiple times due to their negligence. One time, we had a waterfall coming I to the basement. Maintenance never showed up after repeated calls. These guys are worthless. The owner of Midland Rentals takes the cheap way at every turn. Even though it's their negligence for the floods, they will not accept responsibility for your items. Find somewhere else to live if you can. Their rentals are not worth the headache.

Slower than any company I've dealt with in just about any capacity. We had lights burnt out in our unit noted on our move-in list. About a month later a maintenance guy showed up unannounced to finally replace. Now we're going on 3 weeks with no working garage and no communication. I've rented from private owners and corporations between Michigan and the East Coast and Midland Rental Property is at the top of my 'not again' list.
