Wife and I are both patients here.. needed antibiotics to prevent development of pneumonia. We were told they dont have any appointments available until next month. I hope we dont get pneumonia as I was in the hospital for it last year. Old fashion doctoring that cares about their patients does not exist here. Please heed my advice. Look elsewhere! McLaren has ruined what doctoring should be about In favor of greed and money. I have never left a bad review in my life, however, in favor of greed and money. And certainly dont count on them to be available if you are actually sick.

My mother has been fighting doctors for over a year to be heard and taken care of. Finally going to Dr Perkins has given not only answers, but hope. Being referred to specialists and ALSO being taken care of, has been amazing!

I arrived this morning for my appointment between 9:05-9:10 am. When I went to the front desk and told them that I was there for my appointment to see Dr. Perkins they told me I would have to reschedule since she has a strict appointment time policy and that I was late for my 9 am appointment. I told them my appointment was for 9:15 am and that I just looked at my appointment card the night before and I would have noticed if it said 9:00 instead of 9:15 (there is a big difference between a 00 and a 15). They asked if I had the card with me, which I didn't because I threw it away thinking that I shouldn't need it for a reminder anymore because my appointment was the next day. I had the appointment time for 9:15 am on my home, work and phone calendars to remind me as well. The receptionist said she could get me in on April something at 12:30 pm. I have to get blood work done at these appointments every year while fasting. I told them that I would call later and walked out. As I walked out I couldn't believe what just happened. I know a doctor's time is important but so is mine. I had to take time off from work. I'm not saying she is a bad doctor but what happened today was very upsetting and I will no longer be a patient there. I never leave bad reviews but this experience really got to me.

Was late to Perkins emergency scheduled appointment by less than 10 min cause I forgot my BP Machine abd had to go back and get it, then ran into a train etc... when I got there they called back to talk to her and she said I would have to reschedule... I said give me all my paperwork I find someone else... I asked if she would like to know that Info and the front desk lady said it won't matter... which made me even more irate! So I have appointment with new place a 4pm today... (Edit) no thanks your staff made it very clear what kind of compassion you have, and sounds like None.. so why would I want to continue this relationship etc... nice try responding negative reviews, full well know NO one is going to call you back after the way they were treated!

Dr. Perkins is an amazing doctor, but I, unfortunately, have to switch doctors due to how rude the front desk is. I am not the first person this has happened to and that is sad to say. The front desk will do absolutely nothing to help you unless it is something as easy as putting your name in the schedule for an appointment. Not everyone I have talked to was rude, one lady in particular was extremely nice and so helpful. If you have any issues with the front desk (which you will) good luck trying to get absolutely anybody to help you unless you bring the compaint to light, to which then you would get help just because they are worried about their public image. Awful awful people that run the front desk which is so beyond unfortunate to the other people who work there who are so nice and helpful
