Great food prices in the store which translates to cheaper gas prices at the pump. What could be better?!

Just left this location, and I am LIVID. Great location, great prices.... TERRIBLE PEOPLE. I've never seen the woman working there tonight, and I hope I never see her again. I stopped in on the way home to get gas, I had my 8 year old, autistic son with me. It was just after 9 pm. when we went inside. Being his usual self, he was swaying back and forth and lightly twirling - He wasn't making any noise. He wasn't touching anything. He wasn't knocking things over, and he wasn't breaking anything. Yet, the woman behind the glass thought it was her place to YELL at my child and attempt to parent him. She started yelling at him to stop and to knock it off. "HEY!! DON'T DO THAT!! KNOCK IT OFF NOW!!" It was only when I turned and looked at her that she changed her tone. She quickly went from yelling to concerned and added, "Because I don't want you to get hurt. You could trip on the rug." She said nothing to me. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If my kid was being such a disturbance, why wouldn't you say something to me?? You are big and bad to an 8 year old boy, but you can't say it to his mother's face??? I was frustrated and asked my son to stay by my side, since 3 feet away from me in the tiny gas station was too much for the attendant. I grabbed my drinks and went to the counter. You could tell that she was annoyed because she was extremely rude to me. Didn't ask me how I was or if I found everything OK. That's just fine. We don't need to be chatty. She was very dry and really short with me. I set down my drinks, and she rolled her eyes and said, "I have to scan all of them, turn the cans," and that was followed by a snarky "Do you have a Kroger card, ugh?" As I'm getting it out. At this point, I'm just trying to pay and leave. I'm biting my tongue because I really want to say something to her. I turned to leave, opening the door and letting my son go out first. I couldn't keep it in any longer, and as I walked out, I put my hand up behind me and flipped her off. Not my finest moment. It could have ended there. She knew she was in the wrong. She knew she was nasty to my kid and then a jerk to me. She knew why I flipped her off. She could have just gone about her night. But, she didn't. Nope. She opened that door and yelled, "Did you just give me the finger!?!" And I shouted back."Yep, I sure did!" At which point, she began to step into the parking lot towards my car as she yelled at me some more, demanding to know why I flipped her off. My son was not in the car yet, so he was witnessing this woman yelling at his mom from across the lot. I told her that my son has special needs and that he already has a mother. If he was doing anything inappropriate that I would have handled it, and that she didn't need to yell at him. She started to yell some things at me and I just ended it by telling her I wasn't going to continue a screaming match, she did her job, now let me get my gas and go home. After she reluctantly returned inside, I pumped my gas and then had a talk with my son, explaining to him that he didn't do anything wrong. I then apologized for the scary old lady who just yelled at him for nothing. She was beyond rude and unprofessional. Sure, I was also unprofessional when I flipped her off- but I also don't work there. I was a paying guest, and my child was treated like a criminal.
