The staff was friendly, polite, and accommodating. The rooms are dated but clean and quiet. No signs of insects are noted. There is a weird industrial scent to the rooms, but it's the same as outside, typical "downriver" odor. Perfume on a towel over the air register cured that. Rooms: Clean, quiet, and safe. Nearby activities: The beach and pier are just down the road. Safety: One entrance. Everyone must go through the front. Walkability: Two restaurants within walking distance. Noteworthy details: Coffee maker in room, along with microwave and refrigerator. No frills. Rooms appear clean. It seems to be under new management, as though it has been recently purchased.

If you are looking for a cheap no-frills room this is it. Don't expect anything other than a safe room in an ok location. I have stayed here 3 times and all 3 times the place has treated me ok. Rooms are dated and all need work, but they are cheap and safe.

I am in the room 109 we booked this room for two days as soon as we're up we leaving , this place is nasty, floors are obscene, the chair they got out of a alley, no toilet paper took hour to get some. Outside is a nasty trucking co. Hauling factory waste dirt dust everywhere. Woke turned on lamp roaches run got a picture of them. Do not stay here and they refuse to reimburse us the next day. Found bed bug in bathroom, and on my pillow. My foot nasty after walking on carpet. Called the health Dept. It won't let me post pictures.

Luna Pier is a hole in the wall, poor town. It's businesses reflect its overall shape. This hotel is not taken care of inside and out, there are bed bugs and if you were smart, you would find somewhere else. Btw, you can't park anywhere in this town unless you're a resident. No using the beach, no walking the pier, no local shopping, without paying hefty parking fees. 4$ an hour is highway robbery. The businesses in this town should start catering to visitors if they want to continue staying afloat.
