Incompetent and apathetic. Have you ever met someone who just doesn't care anymore? That's Nick, the owner and the only tax accountant at this small office. Last year I contacted him in March to get my taxes done: I gave him all my documents, he charged me, I paid, and he said I was all set and should expect a refund in my bank account soon... after three months, no refund ever arrived. Because HE FORGOT TO DO THE REFUND! He had all my information and he's done my taxes for years, so I decided to forgive the guy and try it again this year. I contacted him at his office in January, but so far it's not going too well... he asked me to send in my W2 documents, and I did, but this time I'm not paying until after he files my refund. He still hasn't done it, and It's now March :( I understand procrastinating, and putting things off, but his actions here go beyond just being lazy. At this point I can tell he just doesn't care anymore.
