We have used Dixson for 3 years and have always paid our bill on time, often having to contact the owner to actually SEND us a bill to pay! Lawn service is something my husband organizes and takes care of, if not for that I would have found another place 2 years ago. They have never cut our backyard to our liking and my husband consistently cuts our backyard every weekend even though it is cut by Dixson on Mondays because the grass is never cut short enough. They are also hit or miss (even when the weather is good) on when they are coming out and never bother to communicate with you. This is important to us because we have to leave our fence unlocked and make sure cars are moved so they can access our backyard.
My husband was pushed over the edge a few weeks ago when he received a bill for $30 for a cut that never happened. We have security cameras, 2 in front of our house and 2 in the back. We would have known if our grass was cut. My husband reached out over and over again and was finally told that the "GPS shows they were at our house". Maybe they were and didn't cut? Who knows! Either way we have been excellent customers and why in the world would we all of a sudden lie to save $30??? We received another bill without being contacted again by the owner. My husband reached out several more times requesting a call/text regarding the issue and have heard nothing. We paid the bill because my husband was worried about being sent to collections for something so stupid.
Needless to say, we will NOT use this service next year. We should have paid closer attention to Angi and Yelp reviews because the Google reviews must be his parents and/or siblings! Service: Lawn mowing & maintenance
