        This by far is the coolest archives I've ever visited. The staff are warm and friendly, and they are quick to provide service. I've found them to be extremely helpful in solving my worst genealogical mysteries. And it is SO amazing to hold original records in your hands - history that you can touch! The Archives are a real gem in the state of Michigan, and I find it worth the trip even though its six hours from where I live.
