Mrs. Orlene Hawks should be removed as director of Ombudsman. Continuously practices nepotism which in return causes the most unprofessional, unethical, inexperienced individuals to be hired, and handle cases and complaints made by clients that they (staff) are incapable of handling due to lack of experience or arduous practices. Mrs.Hawks needs to be investigated and removed from her position immediately, as well as having the entire staff investigated and fired for their unethical work practices. Many complaints from clients are left unresolved, which has caused children to be placed in toxic enviorments, and has even led to child deaths while under her leadership of Ombudsman. Very unprofessional staff members who lack the basic morale of Social Services and it's policies. Also, she employs workers who lack basic customer service skills, which in turn causes people to become reluctant about contacting the department for any services needed for clients. I have had clients receive very harsh criticism, personal judgement (regarding how many children they have, their educational background, their number of sexual partners) , and we're declindd services due to the State workers disapproval of things that are irrelevant to the matter in which the client has called. I have reported Mrs. Hawks and her staff to the Governor, both Snyder and Schuette, and Whitmore to have her investigated and removed as the director of Ombudsman. She's clearly incapable of doing her job correctly. We do not expect every client to have a victory within their case, however, the lack of effort from the department and it's employees are almost of "sabotage" nature, giving clients little to no chance of regaining any sort of chance to have their case reviewed and carefully managed. It seems as though the employees are more interested in maintain their title of "Case manager", "Social worker", so on and so forth, with the luxury of making " x" amount of dollars in salary, than they are with helping clients with their concerns.

My nephew's are living in a terrible state with drug addict parents. They are behind in development and starving yet CPS and Obudsman won't do anything until one of them dies I guess. Since the parents know how to work the system the kids suffer a miserable life and no one will help.
