The Outreach of the City Rescue Mission

This is just a place to come in from the cold - not a five-star hotel. Yes, people have to sleep in chairs, but i really dont hear anyone complaining. Were just happy to be warm. No food available but there are two places nearby that serve to the homeless all day, and also have beds when available. Sure, some of them are a bit rough, but thats just life on the streets. Nobody here is just going around randomly attacking people. If a fight happens, its because both people wanted it, and there are always staff to handle it. Doors open at 6pm, lock-in by 8pm, quiet time/lights out by 9:30pm, wake-up at 6am, everyone leaves by 7am i think. You can leave any time for any reason, but re-entry wont be permitted until the following night. Please, dont let us scare you. Just being homeless can be scary, fear of the unknown and whatnot, but the people who stay here are just trying to better their sitation, not waste time making life harder for others.

This great helpful place and is a safe haven at night so that use certain couples don't have to be away from are other half a at night and are able to stay warm at least we're not out side and separate from each the head guy Mike of the place is very nice helpful and kind with out this kind empathetic man taking time out of his life to help use this place would not be open for use people should be like like and learn from his example and from my family to his I'm thanks ful for home doing what he does thanks you mike
