Planning a wedding during a pandemic was a challenge, but Oden + Janelle were so gracious in working with us as we went through the process. Their artistry lies in capturing photos that convey the love and joy of the day in a style that is natural and romantic. As we flipped through our gallery we were flooded with emotions and felt like we were reliving the day. Their attention to detail is unique and all the important elements of the day were captured. It was wonderful to see photos of our guests enjoying the celebration as it is so hard to take in those individual moments on the day of. We also loved the candid shots and that many of our photos were not posed. They were so easy to spend the day with and made the photography portion feel relaxed and most of all fun! We will treasure our photos for years to come and are so grateful for O+J!

We were lucky enough to find Oden and Janelle Photographers to capture both our engagement session and our wedding! We had Oden and Janelle capture the engagement shoot and Eric and Erika were with us on our wedding day. To say that the pictures we received were beyond our expectations is an understatement. Neither of us had ever taken pictures before and Oden, Janelle, Eric and Erika all made it so easy. Oden and Janelle and their team were so easy to work with and with only a little description of what kinds of pictures we were looking for knew exactly what to shoot. Their communication leading up to the shoot and our wedding was amazing! Everyone was so comfortable to work with. They were able to capture pictures that described each moment and edited them in such a beautiful and natural way. I HIGHLY recommend Oden and Janelle and their team!!!

When our wedding planner started talking about photographers and styles, we had absolutely no idea what we wanted! We like candid photos, but for weddings you need a little more. When she mentioned light and airy, we perked up as that definitely sounded like us! Once we viewed Oden and Janelle's work, we knew they were it. It also helped we spotted a coworker in their photos who raved about how fantastic they were. Well the work and reviews didn't lie. We couldn't be happier with Oden and Janelle. They were fantastic and easy to work with, their photos came back amazing and the turn around time was quicker than stated at the beginning which is an absolute added bonus!! Now we're just sad we had to cancel our engagement shoot!! Would recommend them 10/10!

When I began the search for our wedding photographer, my top priority was finding a photographer who focused on capturing the intimate emotions of the day rather than the day looking staged and perfect. As soon as I found Oden and Janelle's website, I knew that they would be perfect for the job. After our virtual "meet and greet" happy hour, my husband and I had fallen in love with their personalities and knew that we would not only love their pictures, but would love spending our special day with them by our sides the whole time. Our engagement photo session was filled with nothing but laughs and smiles all thanks to Oden cracking jokes and Janelle being so sweet. We felt like our love story was one they were genuinely excited to be a part of, and they captured our excited energy perfectly in the photos. On the wedding day, it felt as if we were having pictures taken by friends. Our wedding party could not stop raving about how fun Oden and Janelle made the day! They worked quickly and purposefully to make sure the picture taking felt effortless and natural, rather than time-consuming and draining. And when we got our wedding photos a few weeks later, we were brought to tears with the way they captured the raw beauty and sentiment of such an unforgettable day in our lives. The best wedding vendor decision we made was selecting Oden and Janelle as our photographers, and I can't wait until our family grows and we meet with them again for more family photos!
