Food was good. Wait was long. They messed up my order, but fixed it real fast, and the overworked server was outstanding.

We stopped here on lark. Amazing fresh food. Beef delight, beef soup, and the papaya salad were all great.

Let me start by saying this is one of the most unusual dining experiences I've ever had. Read into that what you will but here's what happened: the mango papaya salad arrived as a lot of shredded cabbage, a bit of carrot, some light green shreds (the papaya?), a touch of mint, a couple cherry tomatoes, and a thin dressing on the side - no mango that I could detect. Upon pouring the dressing over the salad it had almost no flavor - it reminded me of a coleslaw mix without dressing. The noodles we ordered as our main course had a similar lack of flavor. There were shrimp, noodles, big shreds of iceberg lettuce, and again a very thin dressing to pour over that added little flavor. The server (and owner?) were both very pleasant but it took an inordinately long time for us to get our main course (I think there was one other table in the restaurant at that point and I didn't see anyone coming in for carry out, either). The drink menu has a good selection and some nice quality options. The atmosphere looked a bit rundown and hodgepodge, but they had made some efforts to add some beauty and visual interest. A unique experience but it is unlikely I will return.
