Yes they use a BLACKLIST for customers that apparently have issues with their service!! Used them prior to this week. Remodeled my home in 2021. About 6 months in, the sink started to gurgle and push water back out. Contractor came out and could not find issues with sink installation. But issue continued. I call this company and a serviceman came out. He adjusted some things under the sink and noted he had never seen an install like mine before. Did some snaking and seemed to stop the gurgle. As soon as he left, it started again. I called them back and the same man came out. He started to snake from an access point outside, and went very deep this time. Turns out that a plastic bag used in construction was caught very far down the drain. Never had problem again Thanked the guy. But it now appears Ive made it to the BLACKLIST and do not service! Why??? Because I called them back to do a job I hired them to do?? I caused too much time? I didnt provide tea and cookies? There are better choices in Traverse City. Choose one of them!

We've worked with Mr Rooter a few times now. We won't use anybody else. Fast, courteous and professional. Not to mention fairly priced.

If I could leave zero stars thats what I would have done. My 83 yr old mother had a leak, my husband called mr rooter and asked them to communicate with him by phone and to call him when they got there since he had to go back to work ( trucker). If you want to be ripped off then call Mr Rooter of Treaverse city. They came in and charged my mother almost 1400.00 before they even looked in side the cabinet to see what was going on. Said she had to pay by credit card before anything would be done then said they would send receipt in the mail. All they did was replace a 4 ft piece of hose from under the kitchen sink to the water line straight down to the basement and a connector on each end, 275.03 for eack piece so over 800.00 just for that, another 99.00 for dispatch fee. 337.50 to tear a couple boards off the oak ceiling that already had two access holes and they chipped a big piece out of one of the boards, there was no reason for tearing anything down. Another 137.50 per additional man per hour when there was only one person there. This is called taking advantage of the elderly! My husband left 4 messages with them and they would not return his calls. I contacted the BBB and they said they do not take advantahe of the elderly and they will not give any sort of refund because she signed their contract, mind you they were suppose to be communicating with my husband. Since I got no where with the BBB I sent a letter along with the receipt that did not show up till over 3 months later to the Michigan Attorney General and also to their franchise. 1374.09 total for 4 feet of hose and and 3 connectors. OUTRAGEOUS!!!! Total thieves here people. Look elsewhere if you need something fixed! Service: Plumbing leak repair
